The An Phu Hotel in Hoi An is the place to stay if you’re on a budget and you want good value for your money. This is far from a luxury hotel, but it still offers quality in most areas. The only areas where the hotel lacks is with an outdated gym and pillows and mattresses that could use an upgrade. Otherwise, the An Phu Hotel is a great bargain.

If you see the An Phu Hotel from the outside and you’re not familiar with Vietnamese culture, you’re going to think it’s a structure that belongs in China. The exterior is deceiving. When you enter the hotel, it looks more like an American hotel that tried a little too hard to be futuristic. This shouldn’t be looked at as a negative as it makes for a unique experience. The location of the An Phu Hotel is also excellent, considering it’s right in the middle of the city and within walking distance to Hoi An ancient town.

As far as the amenities go, you’re going to find a lot of the basics, but they’re all done well. If you’re traveling for business, you will be happy to know they have a business center. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, consider taking advantage of the bicycle hire, which is an experience - it’s much safer than driving a rental car in a foreign country. The An Phu Hotel also offers billiards, a beauty salon, and a gift shop. All the rooms have a mini-bar, a refrigerator, cable television, and free WiFi.
