Location

The northernmost region of Vietnam is one of the country's most beautiful and pristine landscapes. Positioned right on the border of China, the scenery combines sprawling rice fields, and cloud tipped mountains. Chau Long Hotel is situated high in the hills of the town of Sapa. Originally built as a red stone castle, the hotel is distinguished by its circular main building, accented by a turret tower entrance. The lush green landscape extends into the lobby and guest balconies, with multitudes of fresh flowers and local plants. Visitors are within walking distance of the Sapa market and local church, as well as the five villages in the surrounding countryside.

Most guests arrive via the Lao Cai train station, where hotel staff are waiting to transport you to the grounds of the resort. Once you are checked in, the Chau Long offers free WiFi internet access, laundry service, administrative staff that will coordinate train to plane scheduling and foreign currency exchange. Postal service is also available on site. All guest rooms feature private balconies, twin or double beds and a separate sitting area. Suites come with larger sitting rooms, king sized beds and Jacuzzi showers.
