Do you enjoy relaxing in luxury? Crystal blue water? Unique and beautiful scenery? The Halong Bay Bhaya cruise combines these, along with delicious Vietnamese cuisine, Tai-chi, massage, cave exploration, and snorkeling. Sound good? It is. The boats, named the Classic and the Legend, are re-creations of Vietnamese Imperial wooden ships, and are impeccably furnished in Vietnamese Imperial style with plenty of hardwood, linen, and class. Passengers can choose between a Deluxe Cabin or a Royal Suite, all beautifully appointed, with AC and private baths. Two day/one night or three day/two night excursions are available, and while not inexpensive with cabins starting at $370 per night, each offers a fantastic combination of adventure and luxury.

Your boat excursion begins at noon, after a trip from Hanoi that morning. A buffet lunch is served at 1pm as the boat begins cruising Halong Bay, stopping in local fishing villages to sample a bit of culture. Afternoon free time can be spent snorkeling, getting a massage, relaxing on deck, exploring the villages of Trinh Nu and Hang Trong, or trekking with a local guide through the Virgin Cave and the Cave of the Winds. The night winds down with a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on deck, and a delicious seafood dinner. Day two begins with Tai-chi on deck and continue the relaxed pace of day one with more bay cruising, exploring, and brunch. The boat docks at 11am, and you can be back in Hanoi by noon, ready for another day of Vietnamese adventures.
