Phu Quoc is an island located off the coast of Vietnam. It is known for its lush forests, rolling mountains, and amazing unspoilt beaches. The island has retained the laid back charm of a small traditional village, untouched by irresponsible tourism development.

Mango Bay Resort echoes the idyllic village charm of the island. The resort is situated in 20 hectares of lush green forests and tropical gardens, framed by the blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand. There are 31 rooms and bungalows spread out within the resort; all of them are constructed using environmentally sustainable materials such as rammed earth and seasoned timber. Management also implements eco-friendly measures such as recycling and solar-powered heating.

Since Mango Bay is a low density resort, the accommodations and facilities follow the same eco-friendly design and construction principle. The resort has a casual open-air restaurant that serves fresh local seafood prepared in a variety of culinary styles. Aside from the dining experience, guests drop by for fruit shakes, cold beers, and cocktails.

The on-site facilities are really simple. For outdoor recreation, they have snorkeling day trips, a butterfly farm, an orchid garden, and a forest reserve. They also have a spa, where guests can experience an open-air massage with views of the sea and beach.

Guests can hire a motorbike or a bicycle and use it to go cruising around Phu Quoc. There is so much to see on this big island. On its southern part, you can visit a pearl farm, a historical prison, and a traditional fish sauce factory. Along the eastern coast, you can drop by the charming Ham Ninh Fishing Village and sample the fresh seafoods caught there daily.
