The Six Senses Hideaway is the very first first five star resort in the area of the islands of Vietnam. There are 50 villas going all along a mile stretch of a gorgeous sandy beach, with the view of the ocean right outside the window.

Stretching for miles behind the villas, there is the view of the lush, gorgeous, and untouched terrain of a Vietnam forest and, looming in the distance, you have the spectacular Elephant Head Mountain. The entire resort is surrounded from behind by the adjoining hills of a national park.

The entirety of the hotel itself is a sight! For example each one of the 50 villas has a very spacial, elegant, and modern look to them, while still having that look of Asian serenity brought out in each one. They are each equipped with everything one would need to have a comfortable and luxurious stay: amazing views, tons of personal space, a private pool, three to four bedrooms each, and well a ventilated area.

As for nearby leisure time activities, there are several to choose from. From bird and turtle watching to every water sport imaginable , you definitely won't find yourself without things to do at this fantastic getaway. There is also of course the local sightseeing and culture to explore that you definitely would not want to miss.

There are several reviews concerning this resort and many of them state that the over all environment of the resort is excellent. However, they are saying that the service could use some improvement. Another thing mentioned in the reviews though, is that the food is absolutely devine! Some of the best on the island, and that it was "a breath of fresh air." There are some that state it is a very beautiful environment and that the service is top quality, but for the most part, the service and staff have some to be desired.

If you are looking for an exotic, peaceful, getaway and surrounded by the tranquil atmosphere of an untouched island, this will be the spot for you. However, if you are very picky about the quality of service and whether the staff speaks good English, you might want to rethink your accommodation arrangements for you vacation to Vietnam.
