Location

The Gia Bao Hotel is located in the Hoankiem District of Hanoi. This is a very popular district as many of the city's tourist attractions are located here. It is right in the heart of the ancient Old Quarter, a part of town based around the oldest roads in town. It is within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake, the national Museum of Vietnamese History and the Hanoi Opera House as well.

Despite being in such a vibrant area of town, it is a very quiet hotel. It is also much more reasonably priced for similar hotels that are in the area. The staff is extremely professional and the rooms are nice without being overly decorated. The rooms have a blend of Oriental art and Western architecture. The exchange rate is always as good as you can find in town. The free wi-fi internet use worked well in the rooms as well as the lobby.

It is an excellent mid-range hotel and has three different room levels to select from: Superior, Deluxe, and VIP. It is always kept clean and the staff is available to help around the clock. In addition to all the amenities you would expect from any other hotel you are also a short drive away from the city's airport.
