Pho 24

Pho 24 is the Saigon pho chain that once had dozens of branches. It was sold in 2023 to a Vietnamese company, and by then ran about 14 restaurants.

History

Pho 24 started in Ho Chi Minh City in 2003 and grew fast, reaching 69 shops by January 2009 (Tuoi Tre). Its founder sold his shares in 2011, and the Philippine group Jollibee later held a stake.

In 2026

In May 2023 Jollibee exited and handed the assets to East-West Restaurant Concepts, part of Viet Thai International. At that point the chain had 14 stores and one factory (The Investor); Vietnamese press counted 13 in Ho Chi Minh City and one at Da Nang airport (Baomoi). I could not confirm which branches are open today, and a travel listing showed the Pasteur Street branch near the Central Post Office as closed, so check Google Maps before you go.

You don’t need a chain for good pho. Almost every street in District 1 has a pho shop, and for more on eating and exploring the city, see Ho Chi Minh City and Saigon’s night markets.
