Saigon Indian is a small, first-floor restaurant on Mac Thi Buoi, a short walk from the Dong Khoi shopping area. TripAdvisor describes South Indian cooking as its particular feature, and a 2013 forum post from a diner called it a small, cosy place. Our old listing priced meals at about $3-5; no current menu with prices was available, so ask on arrival.
How sure are we?
A 2024 travel guide still gives the address as 73 Mac Thi Buoi, TripAdvisor still lists the restaurant among the city’s Indian restaurants, and a recent job advertisement from “Saigon Indian” in District 1 is circulating on Facebook. We couldn’t find a dated review from this year, so check hours on a map listing before you go.
