After more than a year without edits, the list of English-language Vietnam blogs was refreshed. It added news sites and a batch of expat blogs: Hanoi Scratchpad for history and background, A Girl in Asia for food and photography, Michael Sieburg, Backwater Views and others, and noted that some writers had left Vietnam and returned.
How things stand in 2026
