How far is Amiana from Cam Ranh airport?

Cam Ranh airport is south of Nha Trang, and Amiana is at the opposite end of the bay. The resort’s contact page puts it at about 45 km, or around 50 minutes by road. That is the longest airport run of the beach hotels on Tran Phu, because the car passes the whole city before it turns up Pham Van Dong. Plan on 50 to 65 minutes, and longer on a Friday evening.

Is this the Amiana in Nha Trang or the one in Cam Ranh?

There are two Amiana resorts, and the search results mix them up. Amiana Resort Cam Ranh is on Bai Dai beach on the peninsula next to the airport. Amiana Resort Nha Trang, this page, has an address on Pham Van Dong, in the Hon Rua stretch of the north bay coast, with the sea on one side and forested hills behind. A booking for the Cam Ranh resort would be a short drive, and one for this resort about 45 km.

Where does the car stop at Amiana?

At the resort’s main entrance on Pham Van Dong. The public listings give the street and not a numbered gate, so the driver works from the hotel’s own pin, and we suggest you send the resort your flight number so the front desk expects you. The road is a coast road rather than a pedestrian strip, so there is no walking out to a restaurant: the resort is the destination.

What does the resort’s own car cost?

Tripadvisor and other resellers list cheaper third-party cars on this route, with different terms. Is it easy to get to the city from Amiana?

It is a taxi ride. The beach strip, the night market and the Cham towers are south of the resort, and the road back into town can slow in the evening. If you plan several dinners in the centre, factor that in. A driver can wait and bring you back for an evening or a day on the islands, which is an extra you add in the booking box. Leaving Amiana for Da Lat, Mui Ne or Saigon

The north end of the bay is a good departure point for the Khanh Le pass to Da Lat: see the Da Lat to Nha Trang route for the road and the pass hours. Mui Ne is covered by the Mui Ne to Nha Trang route, and Saigon is about 5½ to 7 hours on the expressway.
