Is The Anam on a better beach than the Anantara?
A Vietnamese Mui Ne group has a post asking exactly this, from a parent whose children want to swim. The two are neighbours at the Phan Thiet end of Nguyen Dinh Chieu, the Anantara at 12A and the Anam at 18. Beach width changes with the season, so ask the resort for photos from the month you travel. Reviewers praise the Anam’s beach as nice and the grounds as compact, so the pool, the beach and the restaurants are a short walk.
Where is it, and how far from Phan Thiet?
18 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, about 12 km from Phan Thiet city. Groups give 15–20 minutes from Phan Thiet to the strip, so you reach the Anam early. The Hilton listing puts the airport at about 200 km.
What is it like inside?
The resort opened in 2023 with 127 rooms, suites and private-pool suites in French-colonial and Indochine style: clawfoot baths, teak, mosaic tiles and Irish cotton. Two infinity pools, one fresh and one saltwater, a Champa-inspired spa, a kids’ club, yoga, a Vietnamese beachfront restaurant (Lang Viet), The Indochine, and Saigon Bar. It belongs to Small Luxury Hotels of the World and ranks as Tripadvisor’s top Mui Ne beach hotel for value.
Does the resort run airport pickups?
The resort’s own site says private transfers are arranged on request, with no published price. Ask for a written quote and compare it with the booking box.
What happens at the gate?
The car goes to the main entrance and the lobby team takes the bags. Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00 per the resort’s policy page, so a morning arrival from Saigon is likely to be early. Ask the resort to hold luggage.
Can I get to Ham Tien for dinner?
Ham Tien is 10–15 minutes by car. A booked return is easier than finding a taxi back. The resort has enough restaurants that many guests stay in.
