How do you reach Vinpearl from Cam Ranh airport?
In two parts. The car takes you from the terminal to the mainland station and wharf on the south side of the city, about 40 to 55 minutes. From there a cable car (about 10 minutes across the bay) or a speedboat takes you to Hon Tre island. There is no road bridge, so it is a car, then the crossing, then the resort.
What do you do about luggage?
Guests report that the resort’s mainland welcome centre passes luggage across to the island, so you are not carrying cases onto a gondola. Ask the resort whether your check-in is on the mainland or the island. Keep a day bag with passports and medicine.
Cable car or speedboat?
The cable car is the scenic option and runs 8:30 am to 10 pm, with the last trip from the island to the mainland at 9:45 pm (VinWonders, 14 Dec 2025). The speedboat is quicker to board, and VinWonders says it carries guests outside those hours; the cable car can also pause for weather. The resort tells you which applies on the day.
What does the resort’s transfer cost?
Listings give two different figures for an airport transfer: VND 715,000 per vehicle (Expedia) and VND 1,700,000 (Agoda), neither dated. Ask the resort which applies. We quote a fixed price per car for the mainland leg, shown in the booking box, so a family needs one fare.
Where do you stay on the mainland for a Vinpearl day trip?
Many visitors stay in Nha Trang and cross for the day to the park. If you are on the mainland, the Nha Trang page lists beach hotels, and from the wharf a car can take you on to Da Lat (see the Da Lat to Nha Trang route) or Mui Ne (the Mui Ne to Nha Trang route).
