How far is Dalat Wonder Resort from the centre?

About 9 to 10 km, or 20 to 30 minutes by car. Dalat Wonder Resort is at 19 Hoa Hong, on an arm of Tuyen Lam Lake south of the town, further from the centre than the resorts by Truc Lam monastery. Since July 2025 the address is Xuan Huong–Da Lat ward; older bookings say Ward 4. The tourist area’s management board grades it four stars.

That distance shapes the stay. The resort is a world of its own, with the park, the lake and the pools, and many families barely leave. When you do want the night market or dinner in town, it’s a drive each way. What is there to do at Dalat Wonder Resort?

The resort’s own attraction is Dalat Wonderland, on site: an ice castle kept at about −1°C, a haunted house, virtual-reality games, a petting zoo with ostriches, horse riding and a dinosaur-park train. On the lake side there’s an infinity pool, a children’s pool, and boat and kayak trips on Tuyen Lam Lake. La Santé spa, a gym, the La Fonte buffet restaurant and a barbecue garden fill the rest.

How many rooms does Dalat Wonder Resort have?

More than it used to. The resort has been built out in stages: older listings give 216 rooms, including 171 rooms in 19 villas and 45 in the hotel, while the resort’s own site now lists 309 rooms in the main building and 38 villas of two to eleven bedrooms. The big villas are what bring groups and extended families.

For a group in an eleven-bedroom villa, the transfer is worth planning: the limousine van or the 16-seater takes everyone and the bags in one go.

Getting from Lien Khuong airport to Dalat Wonder Resort

Lien Khuong (DLI) reopened on 19 August 2026 after its runway was rebuilt, and it’s the quickest way in. The resort puts the airport about 17 km away; allow 30 to 40 minutes. The car doesn’t go through town. Our Lien Khuong airport guide has the flights.

The resort doesn’t publish an airport transfer price, so ask at booking and compare it with the fixed price in the booking box. A booked driver tracks the flight and waits at arrivals with a name sign.

From Saigon, and onward from Dalat Wonder

From Saigon it’s 6 to 7 hours by car: the expressway to Dau Giay, Highway 20 over the Bao Loc pass, then into the Tuyen Lam area off the Prenn road. With children, a stop at Bao Loc or Madagui halfway makes the day easier. Our Da Lat page covers the road and the alternatives.

  • 3½ to 4½ hours to Mui Ne and Phan Thiet;

  • 30 to 40 minutes back to Lien Khuong airport.
