Taxi drivers and map apps both mix up the La Siesta names, so the address matters. La Siesta Premium Saigon Central is the Ho Chi Minh City hotel of Elegance Hospitality Group, the company behind the La Siesta hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and in Hoi An. It stands at 47-51 Le Anh Xuan Street in Ben Thanh Ward and opened in 2024, according to Agoda’s property listing. It has 80 rooms in the same listing, from Superior and Deluxe to a Junior Suite with a French balcony and an Owner’s Suite. Give the driver the street name, not just the brand.
How do I get from the airport to Le Anh Xuan Street?
Agoda gives 6.5 km from Tan Son Nhat, which is 25 to 45 minutes depending on the hour. The route ends in the busy one-way streets around Ben Thanh, where the last few hundred metres can take a while on a Friday evening.
Does the hotel publish an airport car price?
Not as far as we can find (read 4 Oct 2026). The hotel’s offers page sells a two-night “Saigon Cultural” package at VND 6,890,000 per person that includes airport pick-up and drop-off by private car, and a Mekong version at VND 10,990,000, but there is no stand-alone price for the transfer. Agoda says the hotel arranges a transfer on request. Ask for the car type and the all-in price in writing before you rely on it. Our fixed price per car is in the booking box above.
What is within walking distance?
This is a walk-everywhere address. Ben Thanh Market is 400 m away, the Ben Thanh Street Food Market sits beside it, and the shopping streets, Zen Plaza and Saigon Square 2 included, are a few minutes’ stroll. Tao Dan Park is about 10 minutes on foot and Nguyen Hue walking street 15. A guest also notes pickleball courts opposite. The hotel’s rooftop has an infinity pool and the 120-seat Aqua Sky Bar, so a good share of guests never go further than the lift on the first evening.
Onward from Ben Thanh
The streets around the market are busy from early morning, so for an early departure have your bags at the door when the car arrives. Mui Ne is 2½ to 4 hours, Vung Tau about 1½ to 2½, and Can Tho 2½ to 3½. The Cu Chi tunnels are a half-day return with the car waiting.
