Where is Ladalat Hotel?
Ladalat Hotel is at 106A Mai Anh Dao, on the north side of Da Lat, on a hillside that looks across to the Valley of Love. Mai Anh Dao runs north from the centre towards the valley, so the hotel sits between the town and the countryside: 10 to 15 minutes by car from Xuan Huong Lake, and a few minutes from the Valley of Love, the Da Lat Flower Forest, XQ Historical Village and Dream Hill.
The address was Ward 8 when it opened. Since the July 2025 reorganisation it’s Lam Vien–Da Lat ward, but give the driver the hotel’s name; everyone in Da Lat knows it.
Is Ladalat a five-star hotel?
Le Thanh Restaurant–Hotel Company, a Vietnamese company, opened Ladalat on 28 May 2018 with 205 rooms built to a five-star standard (Tuoi Tre and Thanh Nien, 29–30 May 2018). The hotel describes itself as five-star and some booking sites list it at 4.5. It’s an independent Vietnamese hotel rather than an international brand, and it was built as a place to spend the day as well as sleep: a heated swimming pool, La Beauty Spa, a gym, two restaurants, karaoke, a games area and a conference hall for more than 1,000 people. Weddings and company events keep it busy.
If you’re here for the Valley of Love, Langbiang or the farms north of town, it’s a better base than Tuyen Lam Lake, which is on the far side of town.
How far is Ladalat from Lien Khuong airport?
About 35 km, or 45 to 60 minutes. Ladalat is on the opposite side of town from the airport, so the car comes up the four-lane highway from Lien Khuong (DLI), climbs the Prenn pass and then crosses the centre to Mai Anh Dao. Weekend afternoons in the centre add time. Lien Khuong reopened on 19 August 2026 after a runway rebuild; our Lien Khuong airport guide has the flights.
Ladalat doesn’t publish an airport transfer price. A booked car meets you at arrivals with a name sign, tracks the flight, and stops at the main entrance on Mai Anh Dao.
How long from Saigon to Ladalat Hotel?
About 6 to 7 hours by private car, plus stops. The road is the expressway to Dau Giay, Highway 20 through Tan Phu and over the Bao Loc pass, then the Prenn pass into Da Lat and the run through town to Mai Anh Dao. There’s no expressway all the way yet; the sections are due from 2027 to 2028. Our Da Lat page has the road, the passes and the bus and flight compared.
A 7-seater suits a family of five with cases; a sedan or VinFast fits two people. Child seats are available on request.
Onward from Ladalat Hotel
Because the hotel is on the north side, add 10 to 15 minutes to any trip south. From Ladalat, both ways:
- Nha Trang: about 3 to 3¾ hours over the Khanh Le pass, open 5 am to 6 pm only;
- Mui Ne and Phan Thiet: 3½ to 4½ hours;
- Bao Loc: 2¼ to 2¾ hours, Saigon 6 to 7 hours;
- Buon Ma Thuot: 4 to 5 hours, north-west into coffee country.
A private car from Ladalat to Nha Trang, or a taxi from Mui Ne up to Ladalat, is a fixed price per car either way. The table below lists every route.
