Which hotel is this: Melia Vinpearl Empire or Vinpearl Empire?
The same one. Melia’s site calls it Melia Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire, and the Vinpearl and booking sites call it Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang, Affiliated by Meliá, with the older name Vinpearl Condotel Empire still on Agoda. It matters for a transfer because the name decides where the driver goes: this is a mainland tower, and the Vinpearl island resorts are a cable car or boat away.
Where is the Empire in the city centre?
Agoda gives the address as 44-46 Le Thanh Ton, in Loc Tho ward; other listings say Tran Phu. The Vinpearl group’s own guide places it close to 2/4 Square, Tram Huong Tower and the night market, which makes it a walking-distance base for dinner. It is a condotel tower with deluxe rooms and two-bedroom suites listed on Agoda.
How long from Cam Ranh airport?
Typically 40 to 55 minutes. There is no water crossing, so the car goes to the door. Because listings split between Le Thanh Ton and Tran Phu, we ask for the hotel’s own pin and not just the street name.
What does the hotel’s airport shuttle cost, and how does it compare to a booked car?
Expedia lists a shuttle on request at VND 270,000 per person, undated, read October 2026. A tour operator’s page lists airport transfer as not included, so the first thing to settle is whether your rate has one. Two people paying per person for a shuttle is already more than a fixed per-car fare, and a family pays more. For a long night flight, a driver tracking the plane avoids a missed hand-off.
What about the Vinpearl cable car, if I want the park?
The Vinpearl cable car and wharf are on the south side of town on Tran Phu in Nam Nha Trang ward, about 4 to 5 km from the centre, so the park is a taxi ride and then a crossing. A car can take you from this hotel to the station and wait or bring you back; see the Vinpearl Resort page for how the crossing works.
Leaving the Empire for Da Lat, Mui Ne or Saigon
Da Lat is covered by the Da Lat to Nha Trang route, Mui Ne by the Mui Ne to Nha Trang route, and Saigon is about 5½ to 7 hours by car. See the Nha Trang page for the city.
