Where is Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam?
Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam is in zones 7 and 8 of the Tuyen Lam Lake tourist area, south of central Da Lat. It isn’t on the lake shore: it sits in its own valley, with the SAM Tuyen Lam golf course wrapped around it and pine-covered hills behind. The hotel describes its building as Anglo-Norman in style, with European decor.
Sacom–Tuyen Lam built it for more than 300 billion ₫, starting in late 2013, and opened it on 28 November 2015 as Da Lat’s third five-star hotel (Bao Lam Dong, 30 November 2015). It is still run under the Swiss-Belhotel brand in 2026. It opened with 151 rooms, and its rooms face either the golf course or the mountains.
Since the July 2025 reorganisation, its address is Xuan Huong–Da Lat ward. Older listings say Ward 3. Our Tuyen Lam Lake guide covers the rest of the resort area.
How far is Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam from Da Lat airport?
About 30 to 45 minutes by car from Lien Khuong airport (DLI). From the airport, the road follows the 19 km four-lane highway north, then leaves it for the Tuyen Lam area before the Prenn pass climbs into town. Guests heading for this resort skip the centre entirely, which is one reason to fly into DLI rather than drive up. The airport reopened on 19 August 2026 after its runway was rebuilt; our Lien Khuong airport guide has the flights.
The resort doesn’t publish an airport transfer price. Booking sites list a pickup for a surcharge, so ask the hotel for its rate and compare it with the fixed price in the booking box.
Is Swiss-Belresort a golf resort?
Yes, that’s what sets it apart in Da Lat. The SAM Tuyen Lam course is an 18-hole course laid out around the resort’s valley, and the hotel and golf club share the site. Golf packages bundle rooms and rounds. A driver can drop golfers at the clubhouse and bags at the lobby, but say so when you book.
For a golf group, the car matters more than usual. A 7-seater takes two players and their bags; four players with bags need the limousine van or the 16-seater.
Does Swiss-Belresort run a shuttle into Da Lat?
Vietnamese agents’ packages for the resort mention a free shuttle into the centre on a timetable, and booking sites list a shuttle service. Check the times at reception. Without it, the centre is 20 to 30 minutes by car, and a taxi back from the night market late in the evening takes some arranging. Many guests book a car and driver for the day instead.
Saigon to Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam by car
From Saigon, the drive takes 6 to 7 hours over about 300 km: the expressway to Dau Giay, Highway 20 over the Bao Loc pass, then the Prenn road and the turn into Tuyen Lam. There’s no expressway all the way yet, and the first sections aren’t due until 2027. A stop at Bao Loc for tea or at Madagui breaks the drive; add it when you book. Our Da Lat page compares the car, the bus and the flight.
