What does the Anam shuttle cost, and when does it run?
The resort’s policies page (read 4 October 2026) lists an airport shuttle at VND 75,000 per person, three departures a day from the airport at 12:30, 19:00 and 21:45, with a booking made at least 48 hours ahead and full flight details. Cancel or change within 12 hours of pick-up and half the fare is charged. A couple pay VND 150,000 each way. It is cheap, but only if your flight fits.
When is a private car worth it?
For the morning arrival before 12:30, the mid-afternoon arrival between the 12:30 and 19:00 runs, and any landing after the 21:45 slot. For groups: five people is VND 375,000 on the shuttle, and a 7-seater with your own driver is easily comparable. The car also means no 48-hour deadline, which suits changed flights.
How far is the Anam from the airport, really?
Reviewers describe about 15 minutes; mapping sites measure about 27 km, which is nearer 25 to 30 minutes. Both can be right: the airport road is quick and the resort is a way down the peninsula. Plan 15 to 30 minutes and, on departure, leave at least three hours before an international flight.
Is The Anam Cam Ranh the right Anam?
There are two. The Anam Cam Ranh is a villa and suite resort in an Indochine style on Cam Ranh Bay, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, with the Anam Spa, a Lang Viet restaurant and cooking classes. The Anam Mui Ne is the sister resort on the coast near Phan Thiet. Say the area to the driver as well as the name.
Going on from The Anam
The shuttle to Nha Trang city runs on a timetable that includes a late 21:00 return at a fee. For a longer night out, a car that waits is simpler, see the Nha Trang page. Further afield: Amanoi at Vinh Hy, the Da Lat to Nha Trang route, and the sister resort in Mui Ne.
