Where exactly is the JW Marriott on Bai Dai?
On Bai Dai Beach in Cam Hai Dong, Cam Lam district, on the peninsula that holds Cam Ranh airport. The resort covers 22 hectares of planted grounds and reports more than 1,000 plant species. That is a big site for a car to cross, so the check-in point matters more here than at a small boutique.
Is it really new, and does the transfer work yet?
It opened on 1 October 2025, so almost every review you can find is from the first year. The resort is open and taking guests, with five restaurants and bars (Clay Craft, Seafood Grill, Bayside Bistro, Baking Company and Ocean Bar), a Spa by JW and a pottery club showing Champa techniques. What it has not done is publish an airport transfer price. Rather than guess, we show the price of our own car in the booking box, and you can compare it with whatever the resort quotes you.
What does the family side of the resort look like?
Two children’s clubs, several pools and a lazy river are the headline. The 27 villas run to four bedrooms, and ten beachfront villas have private infinity pools, so a multi-generation group is plausible. A group of six to eight with luggage needs a 16-seater, not two taxis, and it helps to say so when you book.
Staying here and visiting Nha Trang
Nha Trang is on the far side of the peninsula, 40 to 55 minutes each way. For a day in the city, book a car that waits and returns. The Nha Trang page lists the towers, the beaches and the markets. The Mövenpick and Alma pages cover resorts on the same coast.
Going on from the JW Marriott
South to Vinh Hy and Amanoi is a coast road of about 75 to 90 minutes from the airport. North-west the Da Lat to Nha Trang route is the mountain road, 3½ to 4 hours in daylight. The Mui Ne route uses the expressway.
