Why do guests pick the Radisson for a short transfer?
The distance. The resort says it is less than ten minutes from Cam Ranh airport, and a guest post gives eight, which makes it one of the closest on the strip. With 292 rooms, three pools, a spa with a Himalayan salt chamber and a kids club, it is a mid-size resort, not a sprawl, so the drive from the lobby to the room is short too.
What does the airport shuttle cost?
Two booking sites, Hotels.com and Expedia, say VND 700,000 per vehicle one way on request, and Traveloka lists an estimated VND 400,000 per person. None is dated, and the figures differ by site, so confirm with the resort. At VND 700,000, the shuttle costs more than a fixed-price car on many routes, and the car gives you a name and a plate before you land.
What is at the resort?
Rooms with ocean views, beachfront pool villas for those who want a private pool, a breakfast buffet at The Sunrise and a seafood restaurant, Blu Lobster, on a veranda. Insider Journeys describes it as sitting directly on the beach, with a private stretch of sand.
Evenings in Nha Trang
Nha Trang is about 30 km north, 40 to 55 minutes each way. A car that waits and brings you back is simpler than ordering one at midnight. See the Nha Trang page for food and sights. Nearby resorts on the same coast include Mövenpick and Alma.
Going on from the Radisson
Vinh Hy and Amanoi are about 75 to 90 minutes south of the airport. The Da Lat to Nha Trang route covers the mountain road, and the Mui Ne to Nha Trang route the expressway east.
