Where to stay in Phan Thiet: the Radisson, another NovaWorld hotel or Mui Ne?
The Radisson is one of the four resorts inside NovaWorld Phan Thiet, in Tien Thanh about 15 km from the city and on the opposite side of Phan Thiet from the Mui Ne strip. You get a quiet coast, a private beach and NovaWorld’s Bikini Beach, parks and golf club close by. You lose the restaurant choice of Ham Tien, 40–60 minutes away. Choose it for NovaWorld, a family beach week or a shorter drive from Saigon. Of the NovaWorld hotels, it is the smallest and quietest: the Mövenpick is much bigger and themed, and the Wonderland and K-Town are four-star. For kitesurfing, dunes and evenings out, stay on the Mui Ne strip.
Which Radisson is this?
Radisson Resort Phan Thiet on Lac Long Quan Street. Booking sites also list a Radisson Resort Mui Ne, which is a different property, so check the address on your confirmation.
What is the resort like?
It opened in November 2022 and is small, 76 rooms and villas, with Scandinavian-meets-Mediterranean architecture. Guests mention the large pool facing the sea, a clean private beach, spa and massage, breakfast, and a kids’ club and playground. A common remark is that Tien Thanh is quiet at night with few shops or restaurants outside the NovaWorld complex, so plan to eat at the resort or book a car.
How do I reach the NovaWorld attractions?
The resort runs a shuttle from the lobby to NovaWorld’s attractions. NovaWorld has several gates and hotels, so give the driver the Radisson’s name and Lac Long Quan Street, not only NovaWorld.
How long is the drive from Saigon?
About 190–195 km, and typically 3 to 3½ hours. The expressway does most of the work, and the last leg runs on local roads on the coast to Tien Thanh. That is shorter than to Mui Ne, which is why weekend guests from Saigon choose Tien Thanh.
What is nearby?
Sonata Resort & Spa is about 8 km along the coast road, and Ke Ga and La Gi are further down the same road. No transfer price is published by the resort, and our price is in the booking box. The table below lists every onward route, including Mui Ne and Da Lat.
